SHIPPING SERVICE/POLICY

​

  • Sweet Macxine Desserts ships all orders throughout the United States using UPS as our third party shipping carriers.

  • Orders are only shipped nationwide using Next Day Air, 2nd Day Air, 3 Day Select, and Ground shipping Monday-Thursday to avoid weekend overlays. We do not ship nationwide on Thursdays (with the exception of overnight and ground orders), Fridays, or holidays. 

  • We ask for a week’s notice when ordering. Depending on our weekly production orders, we could possibly make the dessert for you in 3 days; just contact us.

  • We will contact you to coordinate shipping. 

  • Once a tracking number has been generated, we are unable to cancel your order. 

  • Shipments can only be delivered to a street address within the United States.

  • UPS will not deliver to P.O. Boxes or APO addresses. 

  • Sweet Macxine Desserts is not responsible for delays in delivery times due to incorrect or incomplete addresses. 

  • Shipments that are returned or require rerouting due to incorrect addresses will be subject to additional charges for reshipment and/or relabeling for UPS.

  • Shipping charges will not be refunded for late deliveries in the event the business is closed or if the recipient is not available to receive the package when delivered, UPS may require a signature for delivery at the discretion of the driver.

  • Estimated delivery timelines do not take unexpected weather delays into consideration, which may affect shipping and arrival dates.

  • Orders will process in the order in which they are placed. Please communicate any specific delivery date requests to us via email sweetmacxine@gmail.com or give us a call at 202.701.0599

  • Sweet Macxine Desserts is not responsible for any UPS delivery delays due to the high volume that UPS experiences during the year

PICK UP SERVICE

  • ​All cake orders can be picked up from our storefront in Washington, D.C. 

  • We ask for a week’s notice when ordering. Depending on our weekly production orders, we could possibly make a cake for you in 3 days; just contact us.

  • It is the responsibility of the Customer to check the state of the product before leaving the premises. Once the item has left the premises, the Customer is responsible to ensure that products gets to its destination safely and is stored as per our instructions to achieve best results for taste and quality.

DELIVERY SERVICE

  • We offer delivery for certain destinations. A flat delivery charge will be added to your invoice when the option is selected.

  • Delivery will be carried out in a safe and appropriate manner. Once delivered to the customer and change of hands has been completed with the product in appropriate condition, it is then up to the customer to store and care for the cake as per our instructions. If anything is to happen to the cake after this exchange, we are not liable for any damages.

  • A delivery date and time will be agreed by both parties, and if the customer is not at location at this time and date, and we are not able to contact the customer, the product will be transported back with our premises and it will be the customer’s responsibility to collect the product.
